Nintendo Wii first appeared on the market in 2006. It gave players a way to really get into the games by offering virtual components unmatched by any other gaming system of its time. Nancy Drew – The White Wolf of Icicle Creek
This interactive game allows tweens to become detectives and help Nancy Drew investigate the strange happenings at Icicle Creek through a series of reasoning puzzles and mini games. The challenge is to solve the mystery of shady accidents and determine if the presence of a white wolf has anything to do with the occurrences. The game is rated "E for Everyone."
SIMCity Creator
Sims has been entertaining kids of all ages through a series of interactive games. This edition of Sims is unique in that it allows tweens to build a city as a mayor in-training, but also battle to keep the city safe from annoying dinosaurs, hazardous weather conditions, as well as robots and aliens. Kids can decide to build a city in the theme of:

Wario Land – Shake It!
You've never seen Mario quite like this before. This action-packed game has tweens holding the remote and shaking it vigorously to attack oncoming enemies with surrounding objects. By doing this, Mario is able to defeat his enemies, and gain valuable power-ups and money that he needs to proceed to different levels. Taking hold of certain objects and shaking the remote also gives Mario secret moves. The game is rated "E for Everyone."

Get the whole family together for this exciting video game, which features many popular classic games such as:

- Horseshoes
- Darts
Family members and friends can compete in tournaments to see who winds up the reigning champion. Up to four people can play at once. It's great for parties and any time. It is rated "E for Everyone."
Mario Kart
Mario Kart has been out for quite some time, but it still ranks as one of the top-selling Wii games for kids in 2009. Why do tweens like this game so much? It offers action-packed racing where players can race against each other on racetracks on in arenas, and has the ability to let racers connect to the Internet to race up to 11 people via wi-fi. Using the Wii Wheel makes the action all that more real and fun. The game is rated "E for Everyone."
Of course, there are many other Wii games that tweens love to play. The options are endless whether you like action, adventure, or classic game play. There is certainly something to suit tween's desires. Parents are cautioned to read about games before making a purchase to be sure each game conforms to family standards.
